How are Butterflies Shipped?

The butterflies for your butterfly release are shipped over night, next day through a shipping company of the butterfly farmers or butterfly breeders preference. They are shipped to arrive the day before your event. Butterfly farmers and butterfly breeders pack your butterflies with great care into individual envelopes to protect them during shipping. They then are packed securely into an insulated box with an ice pack to keep them cool and put them into a hybernation so they arrive fresh and ready for your butterfly release. It is advised that someone be available to accept the butterflies upon arrival. If this is not possible, make sure you will be there within the hour. Many butterfly farmer and butterfly breeders require the customer contact them within the hour if the butterflies do not arrive on time or if there is a problem.
