| Seed Packages Marketing Opportunity for Full Members |
|
New members of AFB will receive host and nectar plant seed packets with their Welcome Packages.
These seed packets will be donated by AFB members. Seed packets should be made with 'ziploc' type bags size
They are available from Wal-Mart or craft stores. Wal-Mart carries 2"x3" reclosable bags in the craft and beads aisle.
Place a small amount of seed in the bag and close. Print growing instructions on address labels (1" x 2 5/8") and place on one side of the bag.
Staple your business card on the other side of the bag.
At various times AFB full members will be notified when supplies are low and will be asked to send more to the person responsible for
putting together and sending out Welcome Packages.
Special events, such as festivals, will be an opportunity for you to send these marketing seed packages to a designated AFB member who will distribute the seed packets (with your business cards attached). At the festival,
the free seed packages will be given out to anyone who would like to have one.
AFB full members will enjoy the exposure and marketing/advertising benefits each time a package handed out to a gardener.
